34 Degrees Chili Flake & Olive Oil and Seeded Launch

In September of 2021, 34 Degrees launched two new flavors: Chili Flake & Olive Oil and Seeded. We were tasked with the creation, photography, and execution of the social media announcement push. 

When our team came together to brainstorm the launch, we landed on two main objectives we wanted to make sure the creative spoke to. The first was the ingredients themselves. As a new flavor, it was important that we highlighted the ingredients and the flavors they brought. We designed and photographed a variety of assets to highlight the chili flakes and olive oil for one of the SKUs and the types of seeds in the other. The photography was bold in color and showed the ingredients in fine detail. The design team also made GIFs, which provided movement to the content and encouraged engagement.

Recipe Imagery

The second goal was to show the new flavors in action through recipe imagery. Our team took to the kitchen to make the recipes that can be found on the new products packaging. These assets were key in highlighting the lifestyle use of the new flavors. Ultimately, it’s this package awareness and recognition that will drive sales.

Giveaway

With our assets ready to go, we launched a giveaway to continue raising awareness and excitement around the new products. The content and giveaway were a huge success. The content we generated was executed from the middle of September through October. During this time, 34 Degrees saw an increase in the number of posts shared, engagement, and followers (241).
